This is turning into a monthly blog. But the reason is because there really isn't anything new to report. My last scans from February show NED  "No evidence of Disease" and my lab markers are good according to the nurse. I had my Zometa shot yesterday and have no side effects from that. The hot flashes and sweats from the Arimidex are under control with the Cymbalta and Risperidone. My moods are stable for the most part and I'm not in any great pain, just some soreness. So altogether things are good.  New scans have been ordered but waiting on insurance to approve.


I joined an online support group for people with metastatic breast cancer and in that group someone posted about a program called "Cleaning for a Reason" which provides free house cleaning for cancer patients once a month for four months and I applied. Waiting for my doctor to send in the letter confirming I have cancer and hopefully I can get in the program. This would really help my caregiver (daughter) who has a lot on her plate with full time Law school and a 2 year old son.
